Terms of Use & EULA

These terms form an agreement between you and Omnivore Studio, operated by Tanatas Srisuksai in Thailand, for your use of OMNIVORE CODEX (the App). By using the App, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What the App provides

The App lets you record your own experience of food, create or enter place records called Gates, and view personal or aggregated patterns. A reading records your perception. It is not an objective rating, professional assessment, health claim, or prediction of what another person should enjoy.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. The App may create an anonymous Firebase account. You are responsible for access to your device and for choosing a callsign that does not impersonate another person or disclose information you do not wish to share.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for its intended purpose. The App, its visual system, text, software and marks remain owned by their respective rights holders. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape the service at scale, or use the App unlawfully.

4. Your records and images

You retain rights you hold in names, readings and images you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce and display that material only as needed to operate, secure and improve the App and provide features you request. Do not submit material you do not have permission to use or personal, unlawful, abusive or misleading content. You can delete your personal App data through Settings, subject to the retention limits described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Places, location and third-party services

Map, place and other information may come from Google or other providers and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Confirm opening hours, directions, access and safety independently. Your use of third-party services is also subject to their terms.

6. Food and safety

The App does not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, food-safety or travel advice. Do not rely on an AI suggestion or another user's record to decide whether food is safe for you. If you have an allergy, medical condition or safety concern, consult the restaurant and an appropriate professional.

7. Availability and changes

The App may change, experience interruptions or contain errors. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or misuse. Features described as experimental may change as the product develops.

8. Community safety and moderation

Public dish and Gate names must not contain unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, impersonating, privacy-invasive, promotional, or intentionally misleading material. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We may immediately filter, hide, preserve for investigation, or remove prohibited material. Accounts that submit such material or abuse other users may be suspended or permanently closed.

You may report a public record and block its author from your own view. Reports request a safety review and do not create a public accusation. We aim to act on safety reports within 24 hours. Serious concerns and appeals can be sent to omnivorecodex@gmail.com at any time.

9. Voluntary patronage

Patronage purchases are optional expressions of support processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and validated through RevenueCat. They do not purchase readings, insight, history, sync, export, earned Artifacts, Badge, Rank, rarity, EXP, influence over other users, or a more favourable judgment. Prices and billing periods appear in the store purchase sheet before confirmation. Store rules govern billing, cancellation and refunds. Use Restore Purchases to restore eligible purchases associated with the same store account.

10. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Omnivore Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App.

11. Ending use

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your personal App data in Settings. We may restrict or end access for material misuse or legal necessity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership and lawful limitations of liability, continue to apply.

12. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without removing mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. We may update these terms as the App changes. Material revisions will receive a new effective date and may be communicated in the App or store listing.
